This monstrosity, the Tuntex Sky Tower, hoovering 348 m (1140 ft) abow ground and
current tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. But things is about to change…
Asia Plaza is approved! Designed by TMA and scheduled to complete already in 2008(How on earth that´s suppose to happen but Empire State Building was finished in less then a year so what the heck…)Asia plaza will be the third new tallest in Kaohsiung and in Taiwan as whole in fifteen years of time. Nice tradition they got going over there!

Filling out a the gap smoothly! Sorry for the grainy picture by the way.

This one is a little bit sharper, quite nice don’t you think?

Donald Trump is coming to Europe or Frankfurt, Germany to be more specific! Also known as “mainhattan”( from Frankfurt am Main) Frankfurt has by many what’s considered the best Skyline in Europe, and as new tallest the Millenium tower would certainly settle this argument once and for all.

Messeturm, today Frankfurts second tallest skyscraper on the left.
Photo courtesy to Albert Speer & Partner GmbH.
At the moment the tower is only a proposal and although Mr Donald is no longer involved in the project it certainly has given the project credibility so let’s cross our fingers for a quick planning process!

Now this is getting ridiculous! Another tallest proposed for Tokyo and all the two of them in a time frame of say ten years! Japan’s financial crises feels long gone!
East Office Tower is the name of this baby but unfortunately there are no renderings out there for you yet(Yeah, I know I’m quick:-)so ti’ll then you just have to be satisfied with another East Office Tower, the Detroit one:

Think it’s proposed, might be built.
Facts for now:
East Office Tower
Status: Proposed
Expected Completion: 2010
Height: 338 m(1108 ft)
Floors: 77
Architects: Not known

People, I’m proud to announce that Ice Tower has began construction!

You could certainly need a place to cool down in a place like Panama City.

Most astonishing of all is the fact that this skycraper, Latin America’s new tallest skyscraper is a residential building! 381 m or 1250 ft tall will dwarf the surrounding skyline with it’s current tallest Torre Global Bank at 176 m, 577 ft. Expected completion is set to 2010.

Bonus pic.

New design for Russia Tower, when completed the tallest building in Europe! Here it is:

Replacing this building, also by Foster + Partners

Can’t say I prefer any design over the other, really, both are exactly my taste(something which not happen very often). The height of 600 m, 1969 ft is impressive and the brutal design will fit in very well in the Moscow skyline. The skyscraper has recieved very good feedback and seem very likely to get built as officials already have given very positive comments. The status is proposed and completion set to 2011, let’s cross our fingers

Expected Completion: 2011

China is really Booming! Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the
case in Beijing, not if you count height at least. For the Olympics
2008 Sports complex is popping up all over the place, one more extravagant
then the other but we skyscraper addicts get to cope with this tower,
the China World Trade Center. Tower III to be specific. No Shanghai
height, but kind a sleak and somehow remind me of Two International
Finance Centre in Hong Kong although different architects. ( Two International
Finance Centre is designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects ).
