It was actually in the Avengers, 167 or something, back in the early 70s. Count Nefaria was one of the many embarrassing Marvel’s “Superman ripoffs. He even had heat vision and speed Superman. Hoewel he seemed to fly, was explained by the view that Neferia could only jump, not fly. In one scene, he was in the air and noise knocked him down, explaining that Nef could not vliegen. Telling was to defeat the Avengers simple to THOR came at the end of the matter. In the scene you mention, actually feared Neferia THOR, at first, because he was not sure of his ability. Once he realized he would survive the first attack of Thor, his anxiety disappeared. When Thor opened a portal to send Neferia way, Nef lifted the building and pushed him into the portal, choaking het. The thing I do not like about it is that it is inconsistent. For example, they explain that thing is somewhere around 85-90 tonnes, while HULK is well above 100.

At 90 tons, which means that the thing could lift the equivalent of 9 of these 10 ton dump trucks, or a platform with nine of these trucks. HULK is known for the weight of a mountain range to support. That is more than 90 tons. How could even compete THING? Class 100 makes great sense for this “under” 100. Once you have more than 100, no longer meaningful because the assets of that is over, is not explained.

They do but a good effort. Clarify that it is stronger than HULK THOR, THOR but is much more powerful. THOR is stronger than matter, which is approximately equal to Namor, Namor is as near water.
