How do you sense around skyscrapers after September 11?

September 11 has not changed my view of the skyscrapers the slightest bit.
before 2001 they were a symbol of economic machtna 2001 they were a sign of manipulation
On September 11th, I turned 10 years old, so for me, skyscrapers are a symbol of an adult world. To me, they meant big city, businesses, and particularly power. To see them fall instilled in my generation a realization of vulnerability that we never had meegemaakt. Nu, skyscrapers not mean power, but they mean big city, business, office work, etc. De collapse of my childish notion of vulnerability began my desire to protect others.
