Oh should you didn’t catch, I suggest little as in this little amount needless to say LA’s skyscraper skyline isn’t that small, however for a town the next size, there’s not most skyscrapers.

I do not think that’s why earthquakes. My educated guess is that Los Angeles has so much space and is so widespread that there is no need to build.
They may instead develop.
It’s not like San Francisco or New York City, where space is limited.
But we are pretty much pushed to our limits now, so you might see a number inside skysrapers

But for many decades, the tallest building in LA was the town hall by law. Seems that the city council, no building would fall down due to earthquakes. LA does not start to build skyscrapers in earnest until the year 80. Dus it is a combination of both.
